How do I choose a prop firm that fits my strategy?+
Start with the exact program: market, platform, country eligibility, loss calculation, trading restrictions and payout conditions. Then compare the full cost. A larger account label, higher reward share or cheaper coupon does not make a program suitable for every trader. Our firm pages link the official rules; the full FAQ explains what to check.
Is a funded account real money?+
The account may still be simulated. For example, FTMO describes its services as simulated trading, while Topstep separates its simulated Express Funded Account from a later Live Funded Account. Eligible rewards can be real payments, but the displayed account size is not cash you own or can withdraw.
What is the difference between static and trailing drawdown?+
A static loss floor stays tied to a fixed reference. A trailing floor rises as the program's reference balance or equity reaches new highs and usually does not fall after losses. Check whether it moves intraday or at day-end, whether open profit counts, and whether the floor eventually locks. The same headline percentage can mean very different usable risk.
When can I receive my first payout?+
Passing an evaluation does not automatically unlock a payout. Check the funded-stage waiting period or qualifying days, consistency requirement, eligible profit, payout cap, reward share and identity checks. Request eligibility, provider approval and money arriving are separate steps. Use the policy for your exact account and purchase date.
What should I check besides the discounted price?+
Add up evaluation or subscription fees, resets, activation, platform/data charges, add-ons and payout fees where applicable. Check renewal and cancellation terms, refund eligibility, and the rules you must meet to receive rewards. A discount lowers an eligible purchase price; it does not relax trading rules or guarantee a payout.
How do I use a prop-firm coupon?+
Choose an offer marked active, read its eligible program, size, customer and location conditions, then copy the code or follow its promotional link. Confirm the benefit and final total in the provider's checkout before paying. Keep the offer terms and receipt. A proposed or expired code is not evidence of a discount.
Why isn't my discount code working?+
Check expiry and time zone, spelling, the exact program and account size, first-purchase or regional restrictions, and whether the offer needs a special link. Codes may not stack with another promotion. If the promised benefit is missing, ask the provider before paying; send us the public offer link so we can recheck the listing.
Does an affiliate or CLUB code guarantee a discount?+
No. A referral code may only identify who referred you. CLUB remains proposed and unapproved for the four listed firms; a provider's separate public promotion does not approve it. Use only an offer that explicitly states an active benefit and its conditions. A configured affiliate link is disclosed nearby and may earn PropFirmsClub a commission.
